This webinar is designed for candidates, and those active in Green campaigns, to learn more about campaign strategy.
This particular session will focus on:
- preparing to have an effective presence at the polls
- best material distribution strategies
- how to talk to potential voters
- targeting constituencies
- and use of volunteers for things such as door knocking and phone banking
This webinar will be facilitated by Ken Pentel. Ken was the Green Party gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota in 1998, 2002, and 2006. In 2010, he founded the Ecology Democracy Network, which is also a political party, and he ran for Governor on that ticket in 2010. Ken has a long history as an activist and organizer and recently led sessions on campaigning at the GPUS Annual Meeting in St. Paul.
