a) Treasurer’s report – Hillary Kane – 10 min.

All accounts – $109,057.01, Operating Reserves/Committees/Caucuses – $97,249.37, Checking – $11,807.64; plus PayPal $1,163.42
Stability continuing with 3 month operating reserves, Nov TR report posted to gpus.org
NY state workers compensation from 2017/2018 – final fine $2400 to be paid this mo, reduced from the originally $24k and then $5400 and then $2400
Mail now being forward to Hillary’s home and doing email deposits by phone to speed deposits and reporting
A NC Green called and will name GP as IRA beneficiary

December – $13,307.69; January 1-13 – $5,858.66
Donations from website Jan 1-13: $275.66 (2 new Sustainers @ $20 a month)
November Direct Mail Letter: $5,079.25 total so far but some checks not yet entered
First 2019 Direct Mail letter being written this week.- 2018 review – $5k cost; hope to use SOTU info later

Fundraising Consultant update – Hillary, Gloria
Slow to pick up after holidays, next projects – data dashboard setup, case for support – written narrative of reasons to support GP

d) Liaison reports – 30 min
CCC – Gloria – Webinar soon on Green New Deal with Jill Stein and Howie Hawkins
ECOACTION – Gloria – early December elections – no nominations for co-chairs so previous co-chair Audrey Clement continues though will confirm if GP member now, secretary election needs 2/3rds and no one was elected
MEDIA – Gloria – some new members, Green SOTU soon, Bruce Dixon joined, Justin McCarthy has stepped down as co-chair
ATC – Andrea – ATC is communicating with states to update information for the tabulation spreadsheet.
IC – Andrea – may revise rules about Global Greens which does not accept alternates
BRPP – Andrea – house-keeping needs, permanent delegates from caucuses, discussion of registered Dems participating at 2016 PNC
OUTREACH – Tony – new members, call Tuesday, visioning and ideas from strategic meetings
GPAX – Tony – call Tuesday, NATO convergence in DC 4 April, Webinar from World Beyond War

V. OLD BUSINESS – 50 min

a) 2019 Annual National Meeting – Margaret – 20 min
Workshop worksheet has several tracks – goal to recruit people to cover party needs; SC does Saturday and Sunday agenda – anti-oppression workshop leader may be keynote speaker, general assembly – emphasize participation by delegates and reports/committee recruitment; conversation on list encouraged; recognize and welcome new members; may still be room for some workshops in response to a call for workshops; one room for caucuses so each can meet at a different time; discussion of inter-faith time and space during the weekend with equal time for people who are not religious, could include spirituality of indigenous peoples

b) SC ballots from July election and vacancy election update – Jody
David Doonan – help ticket to pair, Violet – whole folder can be download, Charles made spreadsheet from July – Jody will keep on it

c) Strategic Planning Meeting #3 – Gloria and Margaret – 10 min
6 February 7 pm Eastern, mission statement draft being discussed – Gloria will set up Doodle poll for subcommittee, will continue with committees list and also consider tasks, suggestion to revisit Michael Dennis’ list which Justin will share; agenda needs to go in a timely manner

d) Coordinated Campaign Committee – 2 membership vacancies – Hillary – 10 min
appoint AJ Reed who has filed his CCC application – consensus

e) FreshDesk update – Andrea – 5 min
David Doonan suggests more timely response to Media requests through specific email address, Media/SC posts will have “For SC Action” at beginning of subject line; need system for updating media contacts; next agenda- more review of FreshDeck in general and SC participation
