Governor in November 2002. 2004: The Green Party of Pennsylvania re-qualified for statewide ballot status by petition in August 2004, for the November 2004 elections, with 30,023 valid signatures. 2004: The Green Party of Pennsylvania re-qualified for statewide ballot status as a minor political party, by virtue of votes cast for Marakay Rogers for Attorney General. As of May 2005, the Green Party had 16,047 registrants. These voters constituted 0.20 percent of the number of voters registered in any party, short of the 15 percent required and thus not sufficient for ballot qualification for the 2006 general election. back |
