PROPOSAL TO MAKE AD HOC FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE A STANDING COMMITTEE


PROPOSAL

Whereas the Ad Hoc Fundraising Committee of the Green Party has been meeting weekly for over four months, and

Whereas during that time, it has developed and promulgated a fundraising plan, helped to draw up a budget for the Green Party through the end of 2002, begun executing the fundraising plan,  hired a full time fundraiser, and

Whereas, fundraising is now and will continue to be a function which is vital to the continued well-being and growth of the Green party, 

Now Be It Resolved that the Ad Hoc Fundraising Committee become a standing committee of the Green Party, subject to all the rules, regulations and procedures of such committees, and further

That the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer shall be members of the 
Fundraising Committee.
