WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Committee of the Green Party of the
United States will hold its 2005 annual meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
from Thursday, July 21 to Sunday, July 24.
Green Country Greens and the Green Party of
Oklahoma will host the meeting on the campus of the University of
Tulsa.
Plenary meetings are scheduled for state Green
Party delegates to the National Committee; Greens will also hold
numerous committee and caucus meetings, workshops, and other events. A

MEDIA CREDENTIALING: Members of the press
attending the meeting can visit http://www.gp.org/forms/media/
to fill out the Media Credentials Registration Form, and may also
register on site.
John Eder, a Green Party member who was elected to
the Maine House of Representatives in 2002 and reelected in 2004, will
speak at the Green Party's Campaign School to be held during the
national meeting. The Campaign School is a series of educational
workshops for Green candidates and campaign organizers.
Other highlights include election of national
Green Party officers, meetings of Campus Greens and the party's Youth
Caucus, and an address by Cherokee Chief Chad Smith.
