Statehood Green Party November 9, 2004 Contact: MICHELE TINGLING-CLEMMONS TO SPEAK ON THIRD PARTIES AND THE 2004 ELECTIONS, IN PANEL AT THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB, NOVEMBER 10 WASHINGTON, D.C. -- D.C. Statehood Green Party leader Michele Tingling-Clemmons will participate in a panel discussion at the National Press Club on November 10 on the outcome of the 2004 election and its implications for the future. Titled "Independent & Third Party Roundtable: The 2004 Elections and Beyond", the panel discussion will take place 2:00 p.m. in the National Press Club's Zenger Room, 529 14th Street NW in Washington, D.C. The event will be hosted by the Low-Country & Chesapeake Society, a new black independent think tank based in West Hartford, Connecticut. Ms. Tingling-Clemmons ran for Ward 7 member of City Council in Washington, D.C. in 2004. She serves as co-chair of the national Black Caucus of the Green Party of the United States. Also participating in the panel: Kevin Zeese, Press Secretary, Nader/Camejo 04; Stephen Gordon, Communications Director, Badnarik for President, Libertarian Party; and Webster Brooks, Founder, Low-Country & Chesapeake Society.
