Wilmington - As the Houghton campaign enters the last two weeks of the campaign, several prominent Delawareans have stepped forward to endorse her candidacy for the office of Delaware Attorney General, adding fuel to her grassroots campaign that has caught fire throughout the State.

Corporate Power is pushing all of us around, assisted by too many of our Republicrat politicians. We need intelligent legal support and direction. Green Party candidate for Attorney General Vivian Houghton is my choice for November.

Ted Keller
(Founder of the Citizens Coalition for Tax Reform. Consumer activist who successfully fought corporate sponsored state sales tax, achieved increased taxes on the banking industry, and slowed-down the rapid rise in energy costs for the average citizen.)
"I am delighted to see a person of Vivian's character running for high public office. Not only has she played a pivotal role in Delaware's feminist movement, but she is equally active in the struggles for racial equality, labor rights and protection from the health hazards of industrial pollution. She has true integrity and can be trusted to do what she says she will do. Her knowledge and commitment to people make her an outstanding leader."

Helen R. Thomas
(Founder of Delaware National Organization for Women. Inductee into Delaware Women's Hall of Fame. Recipient of the ACLU Kandler Award for outstanding leadership in civil liberty issues. The first Lifetime Achievement Award from The Agenda for Delaware Women and Delaware NOW.)
"Vivian is passionate and committed about issues that are of concern to the ordinary citizen. As Attorney General, I know she will work tirelessly for the people of Delaware."

Karen Peterson
(Twice elected President of New Castle County Council. Inductee into Delaware Women's Hall of Fame. Recipient of the NCC Civic League 'Good Government Award'. Current candidate for the Delaware's 9th Senatorial District.)
"Vivian Houghton is connecting with the people of Delaware because she meets head-on the important issues of corporate wrongdoing, racial/gender/sexual preference inequities and the need for democratic reform in Delaware. She knows the problems and, more importantly, has real solutions to them. Vivian is my choice for Attorney General because she stands up for what is right and just."

Dr. William Boyer
(University of Delaware Political Science Professor Emeritus and author of over a dozen books including his most recent publication Governing Delaware.)
"In an era when cardboard politicians are the norm, Vivian Houghton is real item, shining like a diamond beside the zircon pretenders. When elected leaders mouth platitudes and then do nothing, she has the well-earned reputation of "walking the talk" as a consistent advocate for ordinary citizens. There are no corporate strings manipulating Viv, she's 'of, for and by the people.' The Green Party and the state of Delaware should be proud to have a ballot with her name on it. She will make a fantastic Attorney General...and isn't it time for someone like her?"

Winston Grizzard
(past Chair of the Consumer Education and Protection Association of Delaware, Œfounderš of the Green Party of Delaware and former member of the GPDE Coordinating Council)
