| MI Greens Available to Comment on "State of the State" Speech. |

Green Party of Michigan http://www.migreens.org January 26, 2004 Took Part in GPMI's Taped Response, to Be Shown by MGTV; Party Chair Mark Reichardt, City Commissioner Jim Moreno Two of the Green Party of Michigan (GPMI) leaders who appear in the party's response to Tuesday's 2004 "State of the State" address by Governor Granholm will be available for comment the evening of the speech. GPMI has videotaped a response to the address. The response is scheduled to be cablecast by Michigan Government Television (MGTV) at 8:15pm on Tuesday night. Speaking for GPMI on the tape are state chair Marc Reichardt; Mount Pleasant City Commissioner Jim Moreno; and Priscilla Dziubek, representative of the Detroit Green Party on the Greens' State Central Committee. The panel discussion was hosted by Matt Abel and produced by Eric Borregard, both of GPMI's cable-access program "In the Green". The half-hour tape will be shown around the state as a special episode of "In the Green". Reichardt and Moreno may be contacted for comments on the speech, the prepared Green response, and Green views on issues affecting the people of Michigan and the nation. The availability of Abel and Dziubek has not been confirmed. (The party's key issues for 2003 included peace; social justice and civil liberties; reforming elec- tions as well as campaign finances, to make sure the voice of the people is heard; and preserving people's rights to water for life over corporate profiteers' claims to water for profit.)
