Morrill Announces Opposition to Gambling as State Funding Option.

(HARRISBURG) -- Michael Morrill, the Green Party's nominee for governor of Pennsylvania, will hold a news conference on Friday, April 12 at 10:00 AM to outline his opposition to gambling as a means of funding state programs. The news conference will be held in the PA Capitol in the Rotunda.

Morrill is the only candidate for governor who stands in opposition to the expansion of gambling in Pennsylvania. Calling state-supported gambling "a tax on hope," Morrill will outline his reasons for opposing gambling expansion and will discuss other revenue sources to fund state programs.
