Gerritt Condemns Anti-Semitic Remarks as Typical of What Goes on in Cianci's City Hall.

Greg Gerritt, Green Party candidate for Mayor of Providence condemn Anti-Semitic remarks of Providence Mayor Cianci's Chief of Staff Frank Corrente's comments on the "F___ing Jews" caught on video tape, twice, during the Cianci corruption trial, shows an administration lacking in integrity and diversity.

Gerritt noted that Cianci made remarks supportive of the Jewish Community, but only made after being hounded by reporters.

Gerritt noted, "Anti-Semitism, and all other forms of racism, are totally unacceptable, and if a member of the Gerritt administration made such remarks, they would be out the door so fast they would not know what hit them. That Mayor Cianci did not condemn Corrente personally and his remarks in the strongest possible terms, reminds us of how the Cianci administration does not resemble the people of Providence."

Gerritt added "It also reminds us, after several criminal convictions, that an administration full of people without integrity is likely to be inhabited by people without a commitment to diversity and human rights."
