The Editorial Board of Green Pages, the official newspaper of the Green Party of the United States, is planning to move from a primarily print format to new online publication. We are seeking a new Publication Coordinator to help with this transition and restructure the work formerly done by the Managing Editor.

The Publication Coordinator would be responsible for overseeing at least four issues a year, including working with committee members in planning the work, soliciting articles from writers, copyediting, updating our WordPress site, posting content, coordinating with state parties for exchange of content, and promoting the website through social media.

Green Pages covers news of Green Party actions and opinions from the local to the international. The Publication Coordinator should be a Green Party member, have some experience in writing, editing, publishing, or graphic design, and be willing to join the Editorial Board, participate in conference calls and join the committee email list. Committee members must be appointed to the Board by their state party or GPUS caucus and approved by the current membership.

This position carries a great deal of responsibility and could involve more time and effort than other members (writers, editors, designers) are able to invest. Accordingly, the committee has approved applying their budget line, previously used for printing and print layout, to a stipend of $500 per quarter to support the Publication Coordinator position.
