1. Political Director's Report (additional comments to go with written
report) Brent M. is working through difficulties on CCC blog. Currently we have to
go through Brent M to post new topics.
The CCC is making a request to the Steering Committee to give our Co-Chairs
administrative access.
Negotiations in Idaho for Natural Law Party's ballot line fell through. New Orleans mayoral race was delayed until April. 2 more officeholders were confirmed from 2005 elections.
2. Approved minutes from previous meeting by consensus.
3. Tech Committee
Robb is still looking for good data management systems for campaigns. Robb will contact Kevin about setting up candidates listserve. We decided to keep comments in the blog, but only CCC members and the
Political Director will be able to post.
4. Resources Committee
Per Brent M, we have four submissions for targeting so far for March 1
deadline, and three or four more expected to come in.
We approved sending the MA GPUS donor list to the MA CC, and in particular
to a state chair. Robb will contact the state chairs in ME regarding the ME
GPUS donor list.
Jen, Greg, and Sally will review the applications for targeting. Late submissions will be accepted until March 5.
5. Campaign Manual
Robb encourages everyone to read Politics the Wellstone Way, edited by Bill
Lofy.
6. State Associates
7. Meeting with Scott McClarty: The Media Committee would like guidance on
candidates to promote.
8. We discussed Brent W's proposal to tier Congressional campaigns.
Discussion will continue online.
9. Brent M. will ask to have an intern directly under his supervision. We
consensed to support his request.
10. We will discuss the latest request to hold a Regional Campaign School
online.
