2013 Green Party Annual National Meeting

The Green Party's Annual National Meeting will be held July 25-28 in Iowa City, IA. Register now to take advantage of the $100 rate. Late registration rates will go into effect on May 31st. Paid registrations are transferable but NOT refundable. Please contact office@gp.org with any registration questions or if you require accomodations for special needs.

You can use the "Other" option to contribute more than the current registration rate and provide additional financial support for our 2013 national meeting.

Room Reservations

The Iowa House offers rooms for two that can accommodate a roll-away bed, and rooms that can accommodate four people (with two roll-aways).

It's strongly recommended people phone the hotel and ask specifically for what they'd like, because there are cost differences within these options. The number is 319-335-3513.

• Click on Reserve your room online now.
• Enter the dates of stay and number of adults.
• In the field under "Enter group code," enter 1307GREENP
• Click Check Availability, and a list of available rooms will appear

Only rooms that are physically held in the block will show as available with this group code. If a guest would like to arrive or depart outside of the group block, it's best to call the desk directly. If at any time your guests experience any issues, please have them call us. Call For Workshops, Panels, And Other Presentations

This year, the Green Party of the United States' Annual National Meeting is in Iowa City, IA, July 25-28, 2013.

We want to have a dynamic program of workshops, panels, and other presentations that will provide attendees with the tools and information they need to raise money, run campaigns, and build the Green Party. Specifically, we are trying to fit workshops into the following tracks:

• Green Issues & Policy (understanding what's in our platform)
• Campaign School (how to run for office)
• Party-building (how to reach out and build the party)
• Skill-building (how to be more effective leaders -- chairs, treasurers, membership secretaries)
• Green Officeholders (what has been accomplished by elected Greens?)

Do you have a proposal for our consideration? We will need proposals by April 25, 2013.
