VP CANDIDATE LAMARCHE SAYS IT'S A NO-BRAINER: "I'M VOTING GREEN"
Green Party vice presidential candidate Pat LaMarche distributed a statement today to Green Party members correcting an erroneous news story which claimed she would consider voting for John Kerry in November.
"I want to reassure all members of the Green Party that, on November 2, I will be voting Cobb/LaMarche. I am excited to offer voters at all levels of government an alternative to the corrupt two party system. I want to assure every Green and potential Green that the primary goal of our campaign is to grow and build the Green Party. We will run a smart, aggressive, 51-state campaign that will increase Green Party registration, get more Greens elected to local office, offer a real challenge to the two-party system and culminate with George Bush out of the White House," LaMarche said in her statement.
"It's a no-brainer," said LaMarche. "Of course I'm voting Green."
