GREEN PARTY'S LAVENDER AND DISABILITY CAUCUSES
ANNOUNCE CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENTS
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Two of the Green Party's
national caucuses have announced their endorsements of Green candidates
for public office in the November 2, 2004 election. The lists of
endorsees include candidates from all over the U.S.
Endorsements from other caucuses will be announced
shortly.
The Lavender Green Caucus, representing the party's
gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex members, is
fully accredited by the Green Party of the United States, and enjoys a
voting seat in the party's national Coordinating Committee. The
Disability Caucus is currently preparing to seek accreditation.
Among the Lavender Green Caucus's endorsed
candidates is Bob Kinsey, running for Colorado's 4th Congressional
District. Mr. Kinsey is challenging Republican Marilyn Musgrave, author
of the Federal Marriage Amendment in the U.S. House of Representatives.
