11.08.04 WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Green Party of the United States has
announced several new victories as election results poured in late last
week and during the weekend. Ross Mirkarimi won the District 5 seat for
the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in an election based on Instant
Runoff Voting.

Re-Elected to Maine State House; Significant Wins in California.
11.03.04 WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Green Party announced several
victories in the 2004 election, especially incumbents for state, county,
and municipal office. The party also congratulated national nominees
David Cobb and Pat LaMarche for running in a difficult election year.
