CCC webinar – Campaign Platforms & Website

Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 9:00 PM Eastern

This teleconference/ webinar is designed especially for Greens who are running for office or considering a run in the near future. This call will cover two distinct topics in succession — developing a campaign platform and a campaign website. This will be an interactive dialogue with participants on experiences with platforms — how they are developed, used, and how they can help or hinder the campaign. The Platform is a tool and provides guidance in responding to questionnaires, live forum/debate questions, or potential voted on the spot. The call will cover:

  • What is the platform: do they matter-how much and how little?
  • building a platform including defining terms for constituents, stakeholder input, building consensus from the team
  • framing the platform: sound bites, key phrases, key words
  • sticking to your platform and message no matter what
  • setting up your first campaign website even if you don’t have technical skills

Darryl! Moch will cover the platform portion and Matt Cleveland will discuss websites.
