Question of candidates listed on gp.org seeking presidential nomination.  Can the candidate provide receipts, other reports? Craig had asked for communication between PCSC and candidates in question. Confirmed PCSC members Violet Zitola’s and Shannel Pittman’s observation that some individual filings are not available in the FEC site, even if the top page says there are itemized deductions.

Tamar created a chart to show benchmarks for each candidate. Craig will contact the Sherman campaign to let them know what further documentation is needed. He will follow up with Violet Zitola and David Doonan to direct the web manager to update the web page; note  list of candidates, note provisional status as of X date for two candidates, note the candidate who has achieved the “recognition” status; include the chart with checklist.  Craig will follow up with Violet Zitola. Agree that PCSC has until Friday to confirm and  ask the web manager to update accordingly.

ADDENDUM C

Good evening,

I hope you’re having a great week! My name is Grace and I am an activism agent for NorCal JSA (Junior State of America).

If you aren’t familiar with JSA, it is a non-partisan youth organization designed to fight political apathy in young people. It is the largest student-run organization in the US, engages students in politics and government, and helps develop leadership and debate skills in young people, etc. It is run in its entirety by students, for students, from the organization at its national level to the state level to the chapter level. Our goal is to promote active debates about issues that affect our nation as a whole among high schoolers.

Three times a year, we hold conventions with the entire state, where JSA members from around the state come together and discuss relevant political issues with peers. At these conventions, we host a political fair where organizations like The Green Party are invited to share their work, mission, and current endeavors with politically active high schoolers. They are great opportunities to reach hundreds of young people with your message, answer questions, and potentially have them join your movement.

We are holding a conference at the Oakland Marriott City Center (1001 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94607) on April 21, and would love it if The Green Party could participate! The fair’s exact time will be organized soon, but it should be for about an hour in the early afternoon. All you need to do is send 1-2 people from your organization to the convention with any flyers, signup sheets, pamphlets, stickers, etc. that you want to pass out to our delegates. A table will be provided for you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns; we look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for your consideration,

Grace
