AGENDA REQUEST (Justin): Item to discuss creation of regular Zoom meetings to invite state party officers, committee co-chairs. SC Agreed to add this to the agenda, but it was left for follow up as part of the subsequent discussion (more below)  Brief discussion from Darryl!, who recommended the proposal be to have such meetings on a quarterly, rather than monthly, basis, and no need to try to work into bylaws; general agreement, more to follow online.

  1. Announcements (Holly): Call for Nominations for CCC has gone out. Call for Nominations for Treasurer will go out Monday.  Holly will send  Centre for Upper-Left Policy Survey to SC for further review will follow  up online.
  2. Discussion with Butch Ware.  Buitch outlined 5 areas he believes the party should address: Vertical integration; Culture (play to win, not just “stay in the game”) Culture; Changing Demographics; Teamwork.  Need to create better access for new members, especially those who became interested through the Stein/Ware campaign.  Interest in major fundraising. ” Need to utilize other FEC categories of donation.” He is interested in running for Governor of California, eventually US President.
  3. Maximizing advances from the Stein/Ware campaign. Craig noted that social media followers and numbers have risen a great deal; now is the time to engage and direct people to volunteer opportunities, caucuses, state parties.  Suggested holding an online event with the SC on Instagram, an overview of working committees, caucuses, state parties.  SC will follow up online and plan for such an online event in the \coming week.
  4. Use and advertise to state parties that we have a legal fund.  Suggestion of integrating  NationBuilder use to include state parties. Possible utilization of Outreach Committee; Craig asked to be added as liaison..
  5. Alfred reported that the Green Party of Texas has ballot status through 2034, thanks to Eddie Espinoza’s run for Railroad Commissioner. Green candidates in Texas also outperformed the Libertarians, a first.
